The Raildriver MSTS button layout has no head-out view button one could be added in favor of a less-used function.

Yeah, pc control might not be for everyone, but when people think and chat, they will see the sky is the limit. I am a technical / computer literate type and always get excited about the possibilities. "E-stop" can act like the EOT air dump switch on modern North American trains in one position, and the other can be used for the OR "initialize brakes" function. Again, congratulations in making this work. The Horn paddle could be mapped so that up/down triggers each separate horn. For instance, Many European locomotives use a pair of horns with different pitch and loudness. It might be useful if these could have each position mapped individually. In addition, three of them - the "Range", "E-stop" and horn/whistle paddle - are all two-way rockers with a switch under each thrown position. But the rest are all just essentially keyboard equivalents. Obviously the position-sensor based controls (The lever controls and the two rotary "Wiper" and "Lights" controls) would have to remain bound as they are, since they're defined by the Raildriver calibration. Just like the OR keyboard bindings, would it be better (and more importantly possible) in OR to allow the Raildriver's buttons to be re-mappable, just as we can with the keyboard? I've noticed a few of the buttons don't seem to do anything - for instance the F6/F7 car numbers and siding names which should correspond to keys that are the same in both MSTS and OR don't work with the Raildriver in OR. It mostly replicates the original button controls set out by PI Engineering for MSTS. OR does a decent job of it, but it's a bit rough around the edges. The Raildriver is managed completely by Open Rails. This hardware with USB-connection offers the most important driver's cab functions. Engineering and is marketed by Aerosoft exclusively in Europe.
